This 8-week EMR program is an entry level course of over 80 hours that will prepare students for participation in pre-hospital patient care. The EMR course is designed for anyone interested in learning more about the emergency response system and in being a first responder. The EMR is usually the first trained individual who arrives at the scene of an emergency.
When students register, they will receive forms to complete, once they are returned orientation can be scheduled.
On Demand EMT/EMR Class is an online course that is independent study where students have weekly assignments to complete that are due each week by Saturday of every week.
The skills are taught in our training center in South Windsor, CT.

This is independent learning. Students can do coursework at times that are convenient for them, as there is no class meeting time, but all assignments are due by Saturday of each week.
The final exam process for the On Demand courses require the student to complete a final written and final practical exam in our training center in South Windsor, CT . Exams are NOT conducted remotely.
If you are an out of state student, be sure to check the regulations for your particular state regarding becoming an EMT, if online classes are accepted in your state, and if your state accepts National Registry of EMT reciprocity from CT. CPR Training Professionals does NOT offer refunds or credits for any of our online classes, so be sure that you are registering for a class that will meet your goals in the state you live.
On Demand students will complete their labs in our training center in accordance with the number of labs your course requires ( see below) Our training center is located in South Windsor, CT.
Skill labs are available, first come first served on the following days and times:
Tuesdays: 8am to 12pm
Thursdays: 6pm to 10pm
Sundays: 8am to 12pm
Here is the breakdown of required skill labs for the EMR Class: A total of 28 hours must be completed by the end of the class.
8 Week EMR - 1 four hour lab each week starting in week 2, for the entire duration of the class.
